Senior Faculty for Carnatic Music at Delhi University, She spearheads the technical and cultural revival of Mohiniyattam and Classical Dance on a national and global scale. Sreelakshmy Govardhanan is a Kuchipudi dancer who have gone in search of roots of Kuchipudi and has been fortunate to learn it from the most authentic artist belonging to the Kuchipudi yakshagana, Sri Pasumarthy Rattaiha Sarma. She also trained under distinguished Gurus such as Vyjayanti Kashi and Srimati Manju Barggavee.
