Viraha (The Symphony of Separation), has flute rendition by Kudamaloor Janardanan, conveying the pangs of separation. Even as inseparable minds separate, the ensuing agony is shared through Swaras and Ragas. Raga itself means love. Hearts that pine for reunion with the beloved, overflow with song, expressing the eternal bond of love. Three ragas namely Pushpalathika, Sarasang and Hemavathi have been used in the composition of Viraha.
